Presets work better on photos shot in RAW format, as this format contains more information, so presets will fit better on such photos. Presets also work with JPEG format, but for best results I recommend shooting in RAW.

You should also be aware that a preset will not work for every photo, and it is not enough to simply apply it. Applying a preset to a photo is a good start, but to get the best results you need to fine-tune the basic parameters of the photo: white balance, exposure and contrast.

After downloading the preset, you will have access to the following formats .xmp and .dng - for the mobile and computer versions of Lightroom.

To work with presets, you need to download the free Adobe Lightroom app (available for Android and IOS). There's no need to buy a paid version - the free Lightroom app is all you need to use the presets and edit your photos.
